The best time to clean a home is the moment it's empty and before you unpack a single box — no furniture to move, every corner reachable, and nothing of yours in the way. Whether you're a renter taking keys, a new owner, or handing a place back, here's a practical, Calgary-specific checklist to work through while the rooms are still bare.
Start with the floors — while they're empty
Do the floors first, because it's the one job that gets dramatically harder once furniture is in. Previous occupants' carpet holds their dust, dander and whatever the "professional clean" in the listing skipped.
