The tile is rarely the problem. It's the grout — a narrow band of porous cement between every tile that soaks up grease, mop water and foot traffic and darkens a shade at a time until the whole floor reads dingy. Because it's below the surface of the tile, a mop can't reach it and, worse, drags dirty water straight into the lines.
We clean tile and grout with a pressurised system that applies a proper dwell of cleaning solution, agitates the grout lines, then flushes everything out under high pressure and vacuums the slurry away in the same motion. What's left is the grout's actual colour, which is usually a few shades lighter than anyone expected.
It works on floors, kitchen backsplashes and tiled showers, and it pairs naturally with a carpet clean if you're already booking the soft floors upstairs.
The method
How the grout actually gets clean
We pre-treat the surface and let the solution sit long enough to break down the film in the grout — rushing this step is why a mop-and-scrub never lasts. We agitate along the lines to lift what's loosened.
Then a high-pressure spinner tool rinses and extracts at once, driving clean water into the grout and pulling the dirty water and debris straight back out before it can resettle. There's no scrubbing on hands and knees and no dirty residue left to re-attract soil, which is why the result holds instead of greying again in a fortnight.
Sealing after the clean
Grout is only clean until the next spill soaks in. Once it's been flushed and dried, a penetrating sealer fills the pores so liquids bead on top instead of wicking down, buying you far longer between deep cleans and making day-to-day mopping actually effective.
Sealing is optional and priced separately — we'll tell you whether your grout would genuinely benefit or whether it's already sealed and fine.
Natural stone needs a gentler hand
Ceramic and porcelain shrug off aggressive cleaning. Natural stone — travertine, marble, slate — does not: acidic products etch it and high pressure can pit a soft surface.
